Hahn University Center
Abstract Submission Dates: Feb. 13 to March 1, 2013
Abstract Deadline: March 1, 2013
The Undergraduate Research Conference (formerly Creative Collaborations) celebrates student-faculty collaborative work and offers all undergraduate students an opportunity to present their research, scholarship, internship or creative works in a professional setting to the USD community. The Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) will feature concurrent poster presentations, interactive exhibits, and a visual arts exhibition. Students participating in undergraduate research, scholarship, internships, or creative works are invited to submit an abstract detailing the work to be presented at the conference.
Abstract Submissions: Online submission of abstracts begins Wednesday, Feb. 13 through Friday, March 1, 2013, on the URC website. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, March 1, 2013.
Undergraduate Research Conference Website: The URC website provides information about abstract submission, conference details, presentation formats, poster design workshops, and poster printing instructions and guidelines.
Poster Printing: Students may print one large poster at no charge at Instructional Media Services (IMS). The PowerPoint template provided on the Undergraduate Research Conference website should be used for printing at IMS. If a student has presented a poster at a regional or national conference, the student is asked to use that poster at the Undergraduate Research Conference.
Important: Students and faculty mentors are to carefully edit (content and length) the abstract before it is submitted so that it may be accepted for presentation and published in the conference abstract book.
