Exciting Results from the 2012 Computer Science College Comparability Study
Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Professor Eric Jiang, PhD, Mathematics and Computer Science Department, along with his students from COMP 150 (Computer Programming I) participated in the 2012 Computer Science College Comparability Study organized by the College Board's Advanced Placement Program. Compared to all 2012 AP students and college students from other participating institutions, our students received a good exam mean score. What is particularly impressive is that our students who received A grades achieved the highest exam mean score among all participating colleges.
The results of the study were used to calibrate the scores given for the AP Computer Science A exam.
