Job Description: 

To direct and manage human and animal laboratories for the Department of Psychological Sciences. The laboratory technician will work closely with the department chair, faculty members, and undergraduate students to oversee laboratory activities and coordinate daily operations, develop and direct department members in required policy procedures and protocols, act as key interface between building occupants and Facilities Management, Public Safety and Risk Management, and Environmental Health and Safety. Works under the guidance of the Chair, Department of Psychological Sciences. Exercises immediate supervision over Federal Work Study students and student assistants assigned to work in psychology labs.


Requires Bachelor’s degree in the Psychological or Biological Sciences and two years of lab experience. Master’s degree preferred.


 $20.57 - $23.15 per hour; Excellent Benefits.


 37.5 hours per week
