Honors Society Recognition for Professor Michelle Camacho

Thursday, June 22, 2017

Professor Camacho served as faculty advisor for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) Chapter at University of San Diego in 2016-2017, and the USD chapter was recognized as a Gold Star chapter for the 2016-2017 academic year. This accomplishment truly puts them among the best of the best. The chapter at University of San Diego demonstrated its integrity and dedication to the NSCS pillars of scholarship, leadership and service. This level of distinction was designed to formally recognize and acknowledge their hard work and dedication. NSCS is a national, not for profit, honor society that recognizes undergraduate students who excel academically during their first and second year of college. NSCS is a certified member of the Association of College Honor Societies and offers one million dollars in scholarships, awards and chapter support, as well as leadership and service opportunities on the local and national levels.
