San Diego's Real Estate Alumni Collab Event Recap

Friday, March 23, 2018

On March 22, the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate hosted a unique event called "San Diego's Real Estate Alumni Collab Event" to bring together real estate alumni from three San Diego Universities: San Diego State (SDSU), University of California San Diego (UCSD) and the University of San Diego (USD).

Real estate alumni association members from each school had the opportunity to connect and network for two hours at the Cushman & Wakefield office in UTC. The event was attended by more than 70 real estate alumni from the three schools. The purpose of the event was to bring the universities together for networking, collaboration, business opportunities and to create a stronger, more unified San Diego real estate community.

"This event is long overdue for the San Diego community," says Joe Bertocchini, alumni and scholarship service manager at the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego. "Everyone at the event looks at this great event as an opportunity to strengthen our community and the real estate industry in San Diego. We are so happy to finally see this event come to fruition.”

The three schools plan on continuing "Collab" events in the future and hope to encourage additional schools, including Point Loma Nazarene and Cal State University, San Marcos to participate as well.
