Real Estate Scholarships on the Rise

Thursday, March 8, 2018

This is an exciting time for University of San Diego (USD) real estate students to consider majoring or minoring in real estate or for real estate professionals interested in pursing a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE). In February, the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate (BMC) announced that it reached a record number of scholarship funds available to USD real estate students. The total amount of scholarships available to graduate and undergraduate students for the 2017-2018 academic year exceeds $200,000. Undergraduate and graduate real estate students may now access the BMC's website scholarship page and apply online for scholarships to help fund their real estate education for the spring semester.

"I won six scholarships for close to $30,000, which was a huge financial blessing for our family and really took a lot of pressure off of us," says Austin Dias '16 MSRE.

Students pursuing a career in real estate are highly encouraged to apply and contact Joe Bertocchini, alumni and scholarship manager at the BMC, to help answer any questions pertaining to the scholarship application process.

Your contributions in support of the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate scholarships enable us to continue to recruit high-caliber students and help facilitate the financial burden for students.
