The scholarship supports graduate and undergraduate students pursuing a degree that will lead to a career in the commercial real estate industry. Preference is given to students who have been traditionally under-represented in the commercial real estate field. Recipients had to meet the following requirements: a NAIOP University member in good standing; a full-time undergraduate student of junior or senior standing or enrolled in an applicable graduate program during the 2016-17 academic calendar year; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

"I am honored to represent USD as a recipient of this scholarship,” says Weisner. “NAIOP has positively impacted my career preparation through the local NAIOP San Diego Chapter and I look forward to continuing my involvement in NAIOP throughout my career in commercial real estate."
