Monday, November 7, 2016

A team of four undergraduate students in the University of San Diego School of Business competed in the CUIBE International Business Case Competition at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 5 and came out with a second place win.

The team, consisting of international business majors Jonathan Bocketti, Michael Burrafato and Alyssa Cherny and accounting major Emily Wat, were one of only four teams out of the original 15 that advanced to the final rounds. They competed with the topic of "Unilever's Lifebuoy in India: Implementing the Sustainability Plan.” The team was mentored by Erin Kellaway, external programs manager for the Ahlers Center for International Business in the School of Business. The Ahlers Center has been training the International Business club for this annual competition since 2011.
