Call for Papers
The Eastern Study Group of the NAKS announces its fifth annual meeting at the New School for Social Research, NY. The meeting will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 18th-19th, 2008, and will be hosted by Professor Jay Bernstein.

Title: “’I’, Self, Subject”
The deadline for submissions is Monday, January 14, 2008. Please send all papers, preferably by email, to: Pablo Muchnik, pmuchnik@siena.edu, Philosophy Department, Siena College, 515 Loudon Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
Submissions should be prepared for blind review. Please send contact information in a separate file, only indicating in the body of the paper whether the submission is from a graduate student.
The selection committee welcomes contributions on all topics in Kantian scholarship (broadly construed). Completed papers are preferred, but abstracts will also be considered. Reading time should be limited to 30 minutes, leaving plenty of opportunity for discussion during the conference. Submissions should not exceed 25 pages. Graduate student submissions are encouraged. The best graduate student paper will receive a $100 stipend and be eligible for the Markus Herz Award. Papers already read at other NAKS study groups may not be submitted.
