In Mulieribus (the Latin phrase meaning “amongst women”) is an all female vocal ensemble dedicated to the promotion and enrichment of community through the art of music with a focus on works written primarily before 1750. Founded in 2003, In Mulieribus presents its own concert series in Portland, Oregon, and has been featured on Performance Today.

From its inception, a portion of concert proceeds have gone to benefit various non-profit organizations that serve the Portland community, particularly women and children in need.

In Mulieribus’ first CD, Notre Dame de Grâce, was selected as one of the Critics Picks for classical recordings in 2007 by the Oregonian.

The Angelus program will include medieval conductus from the Notre Dame Repertory, Gregorian Chant, and works by Josquin, Dufay, and Palestrina that befit the Lenten Season.
