Judith Liu is a professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of San Diego, where she teaches courses of theory, culture, politics, contemporary social issues, and community. Her research focus is multicultural education, education in the People\'s Republic of China, women and HIV/AIDS, political and civic responsibility, and community service-learning.
Since 2002, Professor Liu has served as Faculty Liaison for the Mulvaney Center for Community, Awareness, and Social Action. In that capacity, she works with faculty members who are incorporating service-learning into their curriculum. In addition, she mentors faculty in the Mulvaney Center for Community, Awareness, and Social Action Faculty Scholars Program.
