Patrons check out materials at the Circulation Desk - located immediately to the right upon entering the library.USD students may borrow circulating materials for two weeks and two renewals are allowed. Law students may borrow some reserve items overnight. Non-USD patrons are welcome to use the library but do not have borrowing privileges. Exceptions are made for alumni and local California bar members.
Course Reserves photocopies are available at circulation while books are along the back wall of the Reserve Room. Past exams are at Circulation and on the LRC website. Study aids are also available at the Circulation Desk.
Circuit Borrowing 
USD students, faculty, administrators and staff may borrow books from major local libraries and have them delivered to the LRC or Copley Library via the San Diego Library Circuit.
