Patron Suggestion

April 4, 2005

I would like to complain about the policy of allowing non-students and undergrads to use the LRC resources for non-legal related uses.

I am trying to research with my partners for our law school paper, and a woman who is in no way related to the school is using the internet at the open caral [sic] near my research partners. I think this is really unfair, as we pay over $30,000 a year to support the LRC.

         Thanks.

There are special rooms in the library for group study such as you and your research partners were conducting. These rooms are located on the north side of the second floor Reading Room. There is Internet access in these rooms, both from data ports and via wireless access. Group study is restricted to these rooms to avoid disrupting the quiet work and study of other library patrons.
