Printing and Copying

Printing

The library has 3 networked printers (2 black and white, one color) for use with the wired PCs on the main floor and the check-out laptops (Macs and PCs). The cost of printing is 6 cents a page for black and white and 35 cents per page for color. Patrons pay for their print jobs with Campus Cash by swiping their USD ID cards. Those who do not have a USD ID card can purchase a “gift card” for $1.00 from a campus card services terminal located in Olin Hall or at the the Campus Card Services office in UC 127. USD users can add Campus Cash to their cards at the those locations or online using a credit card.

Copying, Scanning, and Faxing

Copley has 3 copy machines—one color and 2 black and white. The color copier also scans and faxes. To scan, the patron will need a USB flash drive. There is no charge for scanning and faxing. Copies are 10 cents each for black and white and 50 cents for color. Patrons can pay with their ID cards (Campus Cash) or coins. A change machine is available to break one and five dollar bills.

Microfilm Reader/Printer

The library has a microfilm/microfiche reader for viewing and printing. There is no charge for the use of this machine. The reader is connected to a PC with software which allows viewed pages to be saved to a flash drive as PDF files.
