PASSPORT REGULATIONS
U.S. passports (both new and renewed) usually take 6-8 weeks to be issued. Expedited requests, cost an extra $60+.
If you do not have a passport, if your passport has expired, or if it will expire soon, apply immediately. Don't get caught in the summer crunch!
Find a U.S. Passport Office near you
The cost for a brand new U.S. Passport for 16 and Older is $100 total for regular mail service back to you (6-8 weeks). You may be able expedite this service by paying extra fees.
The cost for a new U.S. Passport for under 16 is $85 total for regular mail service back to you (6-8 weeks). You may be able expedite this service by paying extra fees.
For children under 16, there are special requirements and they MUST apply in person. Please go to Special Requirements for Children Under Age 16 for more information.
Some U.S. Passport Agencies only see people who have made appointments. Please check before you go!
