In the past, there have not been computer facilities or e-mail accounts available for your use at the University of Barcelona.
However, we do anticipate that the USD office will have an e-mail account through which you can receive, but not send, a limited number of messages. There are also no printing capabilities on campus. You will need to find a Cyber Cafe near your housing or near the school for your computer needs.
It is possible for you to have your own e-mail connection, but that requires that you bring a computer to Barcelona. If you are interested in doing that, please read "Getting Online in Europe". There is no requirement of a computer for any academic activity on the summer program. Also, you must obtain your class professor's approval to bring a computer into class to use.
