Available Services

The Law School Technology Services department provides help with the following for students, adjuncts, visiting and regular faculty:

  • In-depth assistance with classroom technology training and support.
  • Equipment check out for school events.
  • Audio and video recording of special events or class lectures made available through the Ensemble, MediaSite, or USD’s streaming server.
  • Standard software support of applications provided by the University such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Symantec Endpoint, Dreamweaver, WordPerfect, Adobe Products, Smart Podium, Scantron ParTEST/ParSCORE, I Clicker and IGrader.
  • General advice on purchasing computer and related classroom technologies made through the University.
  • Detecting and removing computer viruses, spyware, trojans, adware and various other forms of malware.
  • Repair and maintenance of all Law School purchased computers, printers, copiers and multimedia equipment.
  • Configuring laptops or desktops to access file sharing, network printing services and wireless network access.
  • Assistance with resolving email issues.
  • Develop and maintain personal web pages for class information.
  • Support is available during normal business hours or by appointment for after hours.
