Florence Program Information
Program Dates
May 27 – June 22, 2013
Orientation
Please plan to attend the orientation on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Villa Rossa. Classes begin on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 9 a.m. In early May, you will be sent course information that will allow you to prepare prior to your arrival in Florence.
Location
Classes are held at the Florence campus of Syracuse University, a short 15-20 minute walk from the Duomo. The center of campus is the Villa Rossa at 15 Piazza Girolamo Savonarola.

Educational Program Activities
The Florence program includes activities designed to introduce the Italian legal system to students, such as visits to courts and informal talks with judges, lawyers and faculty members.
Optional Language Activities
Participants of the Florence program have the option of taking an Italian language class. This class is not required as part of the program. Please note there is an additional charge of $75 for the class, and no academic credit will be awarded.
