Areas of Expertise
Professor Snyder teaches in USD’s legal clinics, in the areas of negotiations, interviewing and counseling, trial practice, and live-client clinics. He co-teaches classes in law and medicine as well as law and mental disorder.
Professional Experience
Snyder practiced commercial law with a private law firm and poverty law with the San Diego Legal Aid Society. He joined the USD School of Law faculty in 1978.
Honors and Affiliations
Snyder worked extensively with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the San Diego Mediation Center.
Key Works
Snyder’s publications include A Practical Guide to California Evidence (with Bocchino and Sonenshein) (National Institute for Trial Advocacy Publishing, 1997) and Mental Disorder in the Criminal Process (with Morris) (Greenwood Press, 1993).
