London Program Information

July 23, 2015 Thursday Study Period
July 24-25, 2015 Friday-Saturday Final Exam Period


Please plan to attend the orientation on Monday, June 29 at 4 p.m. Classes begin Tuesday, June 30 at 9 a.m. In early June, you will be sent course information that will allow you to prepare prior to your arrival in London.

Program Directors

The 2015 London program will be directed on-site by Allen Snyder, Professor of Law.


Classes are held at The Dickson Poon School of Law at King's College London, one of the oldest law schools in England. Established in 1831, it has played an integral role in the life of King's since the college was formed almost 200 years ago. It has one of the nation's most distinguished research and teaching reputations. The School of Law is based in Somerset House East Wing on the Strand campus, on the Thames River, and is located in the heart of the British legal and political world and surrounded by major global law firms. The current School of Law location was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in February 2012.

Educational Program Activities

Students will be immersed in the legal life of London and the United Kingdom with visits to the Royal Courts of Justice, Old Bailey, the Inns of Court and Lloyds. There may also be special presentations by local judges, barristers and solicitors.
