Please plan to attend the orientation on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Villa Rossa. Classes begin on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 9 a.m. In early May, you will be sent course information that will allow you to prepare prior to your arrival in Florence.
Classes are held at the Florence campus of Syracuse University, a short 15-20 minute walk from the Duomo. The center of campus is the Villa Rossa at 15 Piazza Savonarola.
The 2014 Florence program will be directed on-site by Herbert I. Lazerow, Professor of Law.

Educational Program Activities
The Florence program includes activities designed to introduce the Italian legal system to students, such as visits to courts and informal talks with judges, lawyers and faculty members.
Students who are interested in language courses are encouraged to review local language school options. Courses in Italian language instruction offered in Florence include ABC School Firenze, Michelangelo, Europass, and Parola School.
