YogaLaw Society: Free Yoga

5:30-6:30 p.m.; Warren Hall Room 3D.
Relieve some exam stress with a free yoga class. A fellow law student and certified yoga instructor will lead an hour-long power vinyasa flow. All law students are welcome. This is a safe space to explore yoga. Contact: YogaLaw Society President Rick Waltman.

Advocates for Children & Education (ACE): Youth Empowerment Clinic

Join us for our second Youth Empowerment Clinic. We understand that this is the middle of exams, but this is a great way to take a study break, hang out with kids, and get pro bono hours. Contact: ACE President Jazmine Gregory.

Financial Aid: Spring 2013 Off-Campus Work Study Application Available

Off-campus work study is available for internships with government or non-profit agencies. Up to five positions will be funded. You may pick up the application at the Financial Aid Office in Warren Hall room 203. Applications are due by Friday, January 20, 2014 at 5 p.m.. Legal Strategies Group (LSG): Chess Boards Available for Checkout

You can now de-stress with chess with friends and faculty on your own time. Chess sets are now available to borrow directly from the circulation desk in the Legal Research Center. If you need a quick break from studying or just feel like relaxing, stop by the circulation desk to borrow a set to play. The sets will be available throughout the year, even during exams. Resident Ministers Wanted

University Ministry is looking for a few graduate or law students interested in working as Resident Ministers, living with and ministering to our undergraduates. The Resident Ministry Program is designed to build community within the residence halls and provide our students with spiritual and service opportunities to enhance faith, values, and social commitment. The Resident Minister provides pastoral care and presence in the resident halls. Ideally, candidates for the position will have some ministry experience with college students, as well as a strong desire to help students grow spiritually. In return for (an average of) 15 hours of minister per week, the University will provide a furnished apartment and $2,000 annual stipend. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please send a resume and brief statement of interest to Associate Minister Andrew McMillin .

Legal Research Center (LRC): Mobile Printing Now Available

Mobile printing will be available starting Monday, November 11. You will now be able to send your print jobs to the LRC computer lab printers from anywhere you have internet access. Visit the library printing page to read the wireless printing instructions. In order to take advantage of mobile printing, you first must stop by the LRC computer lab and register your account in the system. You register by scanning your USD ID card at one of the print release stations in the lab. Contact: Electronic Services Law Librarian Anna Russell.
