Animals on University Property

Please be advised that USD has a policy regarding animals on university property to which all members of the USD community are expected to adhere, including the School of Law community. The university prohibits the presence of pets and other animals (excluding approved service animals) in all university buildings. Pets and other non-service animals are also not permitted at university events. Please read the entire policy to ensure that you are aware of the rules, exceptions, and consequences.

Sixth Annual Student, Alumni, and Faculty Golf Tournament: November 5, 2017

The USD Golf Law Society invites you to its Sixth Annual Golf Tournament at Riverwalk Golf Club.  This event is open to all USD law students, alumni and faculty. It is a great opportunity for everyone attending to connect with the USD Law School community in a relaxing break from work and school life. Registration Now Open: Careers in the Law

Registration is now open for the 36th Annual Careers in the Law program on Wednesday, November 1—the law school's largest and most important alumni and student networking event. More than 20 practice areas, including nontraditional legal careers, are represented. The Careers in the Law program is expanding this year to include bar associations, law firms, public sector and nonprofit organizations who would like to staff a table and talk with students and alumni about their organizations. Whether you have advice to share or are in the job market yourself, this is a great opportunity for alumni to connect with each other and to meet current law students. Flu Shot Vouchers

If you missed getting a free flu shot at the Dean's October Mixer, you still have an opportunity to get one. The Office for Law Student Affairs is providing vouchers to receive a free flu shot at the the Student Health Center (Maher Hall Room 140) valid through Thursday, October 19. Flu shot vouchers are available for pick up in the Office for Law Student Affairs (Warren Hall Room 218). You MUST present a voucher and your USD law student ID to receive your flu shot. Lesley K. McAllister Symposium on Climate and Energy Law (Ninth Annual San Diego Climate and Energy Law Symposium)

Save the date for the Ninth Annual San Diego Climate & Energy Law Symposium on Friday, November 3, 2017. The transition from the Obama presidency to the Trump presidency marked a significant change in approaches to climate and energy policy. The current Administration has stated its intent to reverse much of current climate and energy policy and regulation. Join academic and policy experts as they analyze and assess several aspects of this complex issue. This year's event has been dedicated to Professor Lesley McAllister.
