The California Style Manual (CSM) is the citation method used by the California state courts. If you plan on working for a California state court judge, your citations will need to be in CSM format. Likewise, some law firms practicing in California state court require that attorneys use the CSM for state court filings. No need to panic! Instead, just bring your lunch and join us for a presentation about the differences between The Bluebook and the CSM. Cookies and soft drinks will be provided. Please RSVP to by Tuesday, April 11 at noon to make sure there are enough cookies to go around. Otherwise, everyone is welcome.
