Details

Students (ages 12-25) are invited to get a free heart screening. This screening is offered by the Eric Paredes Save A Life Foundation, which screens participants for heart abnormalities that put about one in 100 students at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Heart screenings are not part of an annual checkup, even though most heart conditions have no warning signs or unrecognized symnptoms. Participants can register online and download a screening packet to fill out and bring to the event. Walk-ins are accepted after 10 a.m. Screenings take less than an hour.
