Join us for this informal discussion with alumna Lisa Green, '83 (JD). Green will give insight and advice relating to her career and answer student questions.

Green joined the Kern County District Attorney's Office as a law clerk in 1983 and became a Deputy District Attorney upon passing the Bar exam in 1983. She has prosecuted over 110 felony trials, the majority of those cases involving homicides and sexual assaults.

Green was promoted to Supervising Deputy District Attorney in 2001 and in 2009 she was promoted to Chief Deputy District Attorney.

In 2010 she was elected District Attorney, the first woman in Kern County to hold that position.
