Join us for a panel discussion on the legal issues associated with the authorized use of deadly force by law enforcement officers. In particular, panelists will focus on the issues of whether the suspect was armed, the grand jury process, community outreach, and body cameras. Our panelists include Kenneth Kries (San Diego Police Department); Fiona Khali (Special Operations Unit, San Diego County District Attorney); and David Loy (Legal Director, American Civil Liberties Union San Diego).
