The UCSD Helen Edison Lecture Series offers free public lectures that advance humanitarian purposes and objectives. Join us for an evening with former California Supreme Court Justice Cruz Reynoso. A child of farm workers, Reynoso is a legal scholar, an internationally known civil rights leader and the first Latino to sit on the California Supreme Court. He currently teaches at UC Davis School of Law. His talk will focus on the position of the largest minority in the country and the potential impact of this demographic on current issues such as community service, police conduct, immigration, and voting rights. There is limited seating and reservations can be made online.
