USD Law Professor Frank Partnoy Interviewed by CBS This Morning Regarding the "Muppet Manifesto"

SAN DIEGO (March 15, 2012)—Today, University of San Diego School of Law George E. Barrett Professor of Law and Finance Frank Partnoy appeared on CBS This Morning regarding the blistering New York Times op-ed by former Goldman Sachs employee, Greg Smith.

Dubbed “The Muppet Manifesto,” Smith’s op-ed claims the company’s employees knowingly misled their clients in order to make more money for themselves, calling financial services company’s culture “toxic and destructive.”

“Over the last 12 months I have seen five different managing directors refer to their own clients as “Muppets,” sometimes over internal e-mail,” wrote Smith.
