| Message | SAN DIEGO (May 25, 2011)—Today, Professor Nancy Carol Carter was interviewed on KPBS radio’s “Midday Edition” to discuss the maintena6nce, preservation and proposed renovation of San Diego’s beloved Balboa Park, which will celebrate its centennial in 2015. Hosted by Maureen Cavanaugh, “Midday Edition” is a one-hour talk show keeping San Diego in the know on everything from politics to the arts. A student of San Diego history, Carter discusses the history of the park and a few of the unconventional ideas that have been proposed over the past century.
