EVENT CANCELLATION: U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Special Sitting at USD

I am saddened to report the sudden death over the weekend of the Honorable David R. Thompson. Judge Thompson was a distinguished jurist, and we at USD appreciated our opportunities to interact with him over the years.

Because Judge Thompson was scheduled to sit on the panel hearing oral argument for the Ninth Circuit’s sitting on campus Tuesday, February 22, the event has been cancelled. We will work with the court to try to bring another sitting to campus in the near future.
