| Message | Outgoing California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed University of San Diego School of Law alumnus Thomas C. Rogers, class of 1976, to a judgeship in the Alameda County Superior Court. Alameda County is located on the East side of San Francisco Bay. The county seat is Oakland, Calif. Rogers has been a chief deputy district attorney, and previously a deputy district attorney, for the Alameda County District Attorney’s office since 1976. A republican, Rogers fills the vacancy created by the conversion of a court commissioner position in October 2010. |
