| Message | Witness to Guantanamo: A short presentation and film clips of interviews with detainees held at Guantanamo Bay. Presented by University of San Francisco Law School professor Peter Jan Honigsberg Professor Jan Honigsberg's current research focus is on enemy combatants, detention without due process, and other post-9/11 issues; he visited Guantanamo Bay in May 2007. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including Our Nation Unhinged: The Human Consequences of the War on Terror (University of California Press, 2009), "Chasing Enemy Combatants and Circumventing International Law: A License for Sanctioned Abuse" (UCLA International Law and Foreign Affairs Journal, 2007), and Legal Research, Writing, & Analysis (BarBri Group, 10th edition, 2006). |
