| Message | In addition to income tax, the United States taxes different transfers by way of gift taxes, estate taxes, and generation skipping transfer taxes. Each has a special role in our tax system, and also unique considerations practitioners should understand. Philip Sullivan will provide an overview of our transfer tax system and discuss other important developments related to those type of taxes. USD School of Law is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider and certifies that this activity is approved for 1 hour of general credit. |
