A panel of distinguished USD alumni will be exploring the IRS collection process and best practices for resolving tax debts. They will discuss recent updates on IRS collection efforts and changes to help distressed taxpayers. The panelists will focus on the structure of the IRS, collection methods, installment agreements, and offers in compromise. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers. Academic Success Program: Spring 2013 Learning Assistants Needed
Academic Success Program is seeking learning assistants for the following professors and courses for Spring 2013: Civ Pro II with Heiser; Contracts with D. McGowan, Claus, Kelly and Barry; Con Law I with M. McGowan, M. Ramsey and Claus; and Property with Wonnell, Wiggins, Bell and Scwarzchild. Responsibilities include: attending all classes, weekly study groups, creating weekly study group handouts, regular meetings with the Academic Success director, and assisting with Academic Success Skills workshops. Applications available in the Office for JD Student Affairs (Warren Hall Room 206), Director, Kiyana Kiel's office (WH 117), and on the USD Academic Success TWEN page. This is a paid position.
