| Abstract | The author's project here is to summarize the legislative history of interspousal support entitlements in California between the mid-19th Century and the effective date of the state’s current Family Code. By “interspousal support entitlements” I refer to the support rights and obligations of California spouses between legal commencement of their marriage and commencement of legal termination-of-marriage proceedings. |
