| Abstract | In this paper I discuss the path of appeal from an examining attorney's adverse decision, first to the TTAB and then to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. I imagine that, by the end of this discussion, readers will agree that the appeal process is both complex and expensive, and therefore should be undertaken only after careful consideration. |
