| Abstract | Children are the divorce client's most important asset. They will not be your clients, but they will be helpless targets of your client's divorce. As counselor to the client and as a professional, you must get both client and opposition to realize the adverse effects their divorce likely is visiting on their children. This indirect representation of the children begins in the initial client interview and continues until your representation of the client terminates. |
