| Abstract | The "information age" is upon us. The electronic media-computers, the Internet, videography-are ascendant, and our personal and business communications daily grow more dependent on technology. As this technology advances, new modes of communication emerge, and pre-existing modes grow faster and more efficient. The electronic media drive relentlessly toward ever-higher "bankwidth," seeking always to transmit more information per second, striving always for communications that are dense and rich and satisfying. |
