Nevada Governor Appoints Kerry Earley ’79 to 8th Judicial District Court

Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval has appointed Kerry Earley, ’79, to Clark County’s 8th Judicial District Court.

Kerry is a lead litigation attorney and independent contractor at the Richard Harris Law Firm in Las Vegas. She was a part-time law clerk for the U.S. Attorney in San Diego, where she was a member of the San Diego Law Review and held a legal internship at the Legal Women’s Center. Kerry worked on the MGM Grand Hotel Fire Litigation from 1981 to 1983 and notes it had a significant impact on her legal career, giving her the unprecedented opportunity that laid a strong foundation in litigation for the rest of her career. Kerry will replace retired Judge Kathy Hardcastle.
