James R. Edwards ’77 Named Cubic Corp. VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

James R. Edwards, ’77, has been selected as Cubic Corporation’s new vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. He will manage acquisitions and other U.S. and international business transactions while also focusing on intellectual property, Securities and Exchange Commission filings and regulatory compliance.

Jim was previously vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Cubic’s transportation group and assistant general counsel and assistant secretary of Cubic.

Before joining Cubic, he was senior vice president and general counsel at Kratos Defense & Security Solutions and served as a senior legal counsel for Qualcomm.He also held general counsel positions at Qualcomm’s Wireless Knowledge subsidiary, General Atomics and Logicon. Read More.
