| Message | USD School of Law's office of development and alumni relations is pleased to announce our newest participants in this year’s Law Firm Challenge. Buchalter Nemer has joined the Law Firm Challenge and alumna Carol Dwyer will serve as agent for her firm that includes eight USD Law alumni. Buchalter Nemer is a full-service business law firm representing local, national and global clients in eight primary areas of practice: Bank and Finance, Corporate, Health Care, Insolvency & Financial Solutions, Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment, Litigation, Real Estate and Tax & Estate Planning. Cooley LLP joins the Challenge this year with recent alumna Lindsay Parker ’10 leading the efforts for USD Law alumni at her firm. Cooley LLP has twenty alumni employed with the firm and will be participating in Group A (10+ alumni). Cooley’s business and litigation practice reaches across a broad array of dynamic industry sectors, including technology, life sciences, clean tech, real estate, financial services, retail and energy. Koenig Jacobsen LLP will be participating in the Law Firm Challenge this year with three alumni. We are pleased to welcome Chad Wilson ’08 as alumni agent for this firm which specializes in architecture and engineering law, construction, real estate, products liability, business litigation/transactions, environmental litigation, general litigation and appellate work, from business transactions, to mediation, arbitration or trial. Koenig Jacobsen LLP has offices in San Diego and Irvine. Lastly, please welcome Raymond Hom ’01 as our newest alumni agent for Qualcomm in this year’s Law Firm Challenge. Qualcomm has been a participant in the Challenge over the past few years under the leadership of David Arnold ’95 as alumni agent. Thank you David for your years of service! Ray, thank you for stepping in as alumni agent and we look forward to the year ahead. Challenge volunteers provide other USD Law alumni at their firm or organization with monthly updates on events, law school news, and volunteer opportunities and garner support for the law school.
