| Message | With the summer now behind us and students back on campus, the fall semester of Alumni Interactive Events (AIE) is up and running. AIE connects current USD law students with alumni–one of the law school’s best assets–and offers students a great opportunity to receive first hand advice while expanding their professional networks.
Alumni are able to customize your specific AIE event according to your schedule, budget and interests. Simply give us an idea of what kind of event you want to host–firm tour, lunch, happy hour, coffee, etc.–and how many students you would like to meet. The office of development and alumni relations will handle all the details and connect you with current students.
We have learned from students that students are particularly interested in meeting USD law alumni in various facets of the legal community including the following:
- Trademark Law
- International Law
- Judges
- Public Interest Law
- Judicial Clerks
- Corporate Law
- Bankruptcy Law
- Criminal Law
Current LLMC and LLMT students have also expressed an interest in taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity to connect with our alumni population so beginning this year we have expanded AIE to include these students as well.
Current USD law students have so much to learn from your experience and wisdom and AIE gives you a chance to interact with your future colleagues in a fun and informal way. Volunteer and make a difference in the future of a USD law student today.
