USD School of Law Alumna's Lunch Counter Incident Remembered

USD School of Law alumna Lynn Schenk,‘70, has made her mark as a leading woman professional in many ways. She was the first female California state senator south of Los Angeles, the first female chief of staff to a governor and played a significant role in the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment. But in San Diego, Schenk is also recognized for her ground-breaking role in what some call the Grant Grill incident—marking a major turning point for profound societal change in San Diego.
