Interlibrary Loan Policy
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) provides users with access to materials not available in the Legal Research Center, Copley Library, or books available through the San Diego Circuit system. Materials available in other San Diego libraries should be used on location if possible. Our ILL depends entirely upon the cooperation and generosity of other libraries. The patrons of the LRC must abide by the rules and policies of the lending library when borrowing items and obtaining photocopies. ILL services are available at the LRC for currently enrolled USD law students, law faculty, and staff. Non-law USD students, faculty, and staff can obtain ILL services at the Copley Library. For a complete version of the policy, visit the Interlibrary Loan Web page.
San Diego Circuit books are loaned for 28 days and may be renewed twice. Fines are $1.00 a day; after 15 days the books are considered lost and you will be billed $140 ($100 for the item, $25 processing fee, and a $15 service charge).
