Using the Library Catalog and the San Diego Circuit

• Both resources provide the quickest method for receiving print materials.
• Faculty may use the Catalog to determine whether USD owns a particular book, journal, reporter, etc.
• If you cannot find a book in the library catalog, the San Diego Library Consortium catalog (Circuit) is a second option. Simply visit http://circuit.sdsu.edu.
  • Requesting books from the Circuit:
    1. Click on the "Request" icon.
    2. Indicate that you are affiliated with "U of San Diego".
    3. Supply your name and barcode number (which can be found on your USD ID).
    4. Select "USD Legal Research Center" as your pickup location.
  • What is the San Diego Circuit?
    • A consortium of 5 San Diego library systems that have agreements to share materials.
