Faculty Materials
Message from the Director
Welcome to the Pardee Legal Research Center (LRC). You will be working in the region's premier legal collection and facility when you enter USD's law library. Both the building and services are specifically designed to meet student and faculty research needs.
In addition to a fine collection of books, the library offers computer research services, a very strong microforms and documents collection and generous space for work and study. The library is open seven days per week on a schedule of 108 hours. Professional reference service is available during a majority of the library's operating hours.
Our knowledgeable and service-oriented staff is available to assist in both your teaching and scholarship. Please call on us at (619) 260-4542; we are here to offer our expertise. Various library services are available to facilitate your research and add to your productivity.
Sincerely,
Karl Gruben
Legal Research Center Director
