Tom Reifer is an associate professor of sociology, an affiliated faculty in the Women & Gender Studies Program, and the Ethnic Studies Department at the University of San Diego, and an Associate Fellow at the Transnational Institute, an international fellowship of committed scholar-activists based in Amsterdam.
