The office of Congressman Scott Peters, D-CA-52, is seeking unpaid part-time interns for his San Diego district office with availability beginning late August or early September.
Interns may be asked to do a variety of tasks, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with research. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance. There will be opportunities for community site visits and participation at outreach events.
Interns should be able to commit to 10-20 hours per week for a duration of at least 10-12 weeks (scheduling is negotiable).
