Kroc School alumnus, Ben Stutz '05, was recently promoted to serve as deputy chief of staff and policy director for Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown of Maryland. Stutz is responsible for overseeing the Lt. Governor’s main policy and legislative initiatives, including the implementation of national health reform at the state level, improving services for victims of domestic violence and advancing Maryland’s economic development. Stutz has spent 10 years working in local and state politics. Stutz earned a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and an MA in Peace and Justice Studies from the University of San Diego.
